"The decor is amazing and truly makes you step back in time . . ."
" . . . After a full day of shopping Hico, driving to the nearby towns and shopping in Dublin and Stephenville and visiting the vineyard in Bluffdale, it was so nice to come back to our "home" and just rock in the chairs on the porch and enjoy the peaceful outdoor surroundings. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and the beds comfy. The clawfoot bathtub reminded me of my grandma's. A lovely place to stay." -Bed and Breakfast.com
"This beautiful old rockhouse was a tribute to real Texas personality."
". . . We enjoyed rocking and swinging among the old oaks outside as well as enjoying the western comfort inside" -Bed and Breakfast.com
"This is a great house. It's a quaint place, yet with lots of space, comfortable beds, and lovely grounds. Would be great for a family vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

“Great Place to Relax!”
The Old Rock House Bed & Breakfast in Hico is such a charming little place! The decorating is incredible and the original rock walls and wood floors take you right back to the days it was built in the 1800's.... except with the most comfortable beds, a hot shower, and a coffee pot. The house was all ours and we loved that the Hico town square was right around the corner for some shopping and dinner. Using the breakfast voucher at the Koffee Kup was easy and so convenient -- and delicious!! It was such a great weekend to just kick back and enjoy the country. We will most definitely be coming back! - Trip Advisor
“Wonderful time! We've already booked our next trip.”
We stayed at this precious house with a few of our friends just to get away for the weekend and relax. The accommodations couldn't have been any nicer! I loved the fact that we had the house to ourselves, with plenty of space to spread out. In the morning we'd get our coffee, sit on the front porch, and enjoy the country atmosphere. We shopped in Hico, where the streets were decorated for Christmas. It was magical. We were given a voucher for breakfast at "The Coffee Cup" restaurant which was good old southern cooking. The weekend went way too fast, but we will be back again. I highly recommend the Old Rock House.
